An update, with words even???

So this has been devoid of any real content in a while, other than picture of Thekla which I assume no one is against, but still. My baby’s first birthday is going to be arriving on the first of next month. I honestly cannot believe it. This time has passed so quickly and honestly so painlessly. I think that I worried that parenthood was going to have the pains that pregnancy did and it just doesn’t. I mean I am sure eventually it will but for now it’s just this joy. I get to see this little person developing daily and I am in awe. She literally grows by leaps and bounds every single day, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Parenthood has changed be for the better. I take more care with my relationship with my husband. Wanting it to be sound and healthy. Knowing that it will take work to maintain with everything else we have going on. I strive to be a better person with the understanding that I am now an example. We work on making the house a home, and a home for the long term. It’s all taking work, but being a job I signed up for, it becomes work I want to do.

Thekla amazes me daily. I am thankful for her daily. What more can you really ask for?
